About The Position

This role is responsible for leading a group of 16 Graders on the production line, ensuring adherence to safety policies, maintaining production quality according to customer specifications, and improving overall efficiency. The Lead Machine Operator will assign tasks, manage pack quantities, assist with product changeovers, and provide coaching and training to Graders.

Requirements

Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally is required
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a warehouse/production line environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a line lead in a production environment is a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Ensure the Production line Graders are following all Mastronardi safety policies and procedures.
Lead a group of 16 to ensure tasks are done in a timely manner
Ensure production quality of our produce meets customer specifications.
Assign Graders to a specific line per play sheet, assist in rotating Graders throughout the Unit.
Communicate pack quantities to ensure there are no production overages.
Assist and support the Production Administrators to ensure a smooth product changeover process.
Work within the Unit to improve efficiencies and packing to specifications.
Coach, train and mentor Graders; escalating any performance concerns to Supervisor.
