About The Position

The Lead Machine Operator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Single Serve team, ensuring machines run at peak performance, and effectively reporting issues to supervisors and maintenance. This role involves conducting daily team meetings, collecting and reporting shift data, ensuring proper material flow, and providing leadership and training to team members. When the Supervisor is absent, this role assumes leadership of the shift to maintain smooth operations.

• Microsoft Office Experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily team meetings with Operators and Single Serve Team Members
• Collect data for Single Serve shift reporting at the beginning and end of every shift
• Ensure Machines are running at peak performance during shift and effectively reporting issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians
• Ensure all recorded information of downtime and machinery adjustments are turned in to Supervisor and shared with Maintenance Technicians
• Responsible for continuing education on all pieces of equipment when opportunities present themselves
• Assist with breaks and lunches to ensure machines are running at peak performance for the full production shift
• Ensure full communication with Material Handlers to have proper raw materials at each machine and removal of non-used materials away from the machines
• If Supervisor is away or on vacation this role becomes the Leader of the shift to ensure that all operations run smoothly
