Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
3–5 years of automotive or auction experience is preferred.
Prior leadership experience is highly preferred, with a proven ability to manage direct reports and hold them accountable.
Proficiency with computer systems, inventory applications, and electronic devices used to scan and record movement.
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets requirements.
Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
High School diploma or GED required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage day-to-day lot issues or safety concerns.
Proven ability to multitask while maintaining strict attention to detail and operational accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction to team members.
Team player who can coordinate with multiple departments and engage with customers and employees in a reliable and positive manner.
Proven ability to lead a team, influence others, and manage deliverables against aggressive targets.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and hold the Lot Operations team accountable for daily performance, providing ongoing feedback and monitoring productivity.
Coordinate daily activities to ensure vehicles are in the correct location and ready for the auction, organizing vehicle flow and collaborating with other departments.
Delegate tasks and distribute workloads effectively to ensure all pre-sale and lot maintenance requirements are met within aggressive timelines.
Oversee the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring proficiency in SOPs, safety protocols, and technical systems.
Conduct daily inspections to ensure lot appearance meets standards for cleanliness and proper maintenance, and perform pre-sale quality checks.
Assist with inventory management by locating, numbering, and moving vehicles to designated areas, confirming VIN and vehicle data accuracy.
Ensure department safety compliance and promote a high degree of safety focus within the team during all lot movements.
Assure good operating condition of equipment and assign cleaning tasks as needed to maintain an orderly lot.
Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.
