About The Position

Emmy Squared Coral Gables is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Line Cook to join their growing team. As a Lead Line Cook, you will play a key role in bringing the Emmy Squared menu to life by executing on the grill and pizza stations to deliver the same quality and flavor that guests know and love. The ideal candidate is a dedicated culinary professional who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organization and attention to detail, and takes pride in producing exceptional dishes for guests.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a line cook in a full-service or high-volume restaurant.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary best practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency and quality.
Strong leadership and communication skills to support and motivate team members.
Positive attitude and ability to remain composed under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.

Responsibilities

Prepare all menu items consistently and accurately while maintaining high culinary standards.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
Set up and maintain assigned workstations, ensuring readiness for service.
Coordinate and plan food production to align with service needs while maintaining quality and presentation.
Support and guide line cooks to ensure smooth service and team success.
Properly store, label, and rotate food to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Follow and enforce all safe food handling procedures.
Report equipment maintenance needs to management.
Keep all kitchen areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
