About The Position

Pacific Life is seeking a talented Life Operations Reporting Lead to join its Consumer Markets Division (CMD) in Charlotte, NC. This role is crucial for providing advanced reporting expertise and thought leadership for Multilife and Inforce reporting. The Lead will act as the primary subject-matter expert, responsible for shaping reporting strategy, managing complex escalations, and ensuring that reporting solutions align with business needs, service expectations, and operational priorities. The position is part of a team dedicated to collaborating and innovating to positively impact the future of Pacific Life and the insurance industry.

Requirements

• 8+ years of operations, reporting, or account management experience
• Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision, prioritizing work effectively and driving timely execution
• Deep reporting & operational expertise to analyze data, identify issues, and deliver clear, actionable solutions
• Navigate complex, undefined problems; evaluate options and recommend best‑practice approaches aligned to business needs
• Serve as a trusted partner and informal leader, helping peers adopt standards and resolve complex reporting challenges
• College degree or equivalent experience required

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience supporting operations reporting within the life insurance industry, with a strong understanding of inforce related data

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Multilife reporting solutions
• Serve as the primary point of contact for complex reporting inquiries and escalations
• Translate business needs into clear reporting requirements and solutions
• Identify trends, risks, and insights within reporting data and proactively communicate implications
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Operations, Distribution, and Technology
• Establish reporting standards, documentation, and best practices
• Mentor and provide guidance to reporting specialists and peers
• Support enterprise initiatives related to data integrity, transparency, and service excellence
