Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus
- Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty insurance license required (or in process of obtaining)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Maintain reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry, systems navigation, email)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities
- This role requires daily on-site presence at the retail office.
- Assist new and existing customers with insurance products and service needs, which may include multiple product lines.
- Greet all customers in a friendly, professional, and service-oriented manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person interactions.
- Answer customer questions and assist with policy-related inquiries, coverage details, and service requests.
- Follow and adhere to underwriting guidelines and carrier requirements.
- Perform outbound calls to follow up on existing business, renewals, and sales opportunities.
- Identify and act on sales opportunities to generate new business and support retention goals.
- Accurately document and verify all customer transactions in company systems.
- Market company products and services to support growth of the retail location.
- Support administrative functions related to daily office operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office presentation at all times.
- Ensure claims and service inquiries are routed to the appropriate carrier or department for resolution.
