About The Position

At Mathnasium, we are passionate about helping students from K- 8th unlock their potential and excel in math. We provide a fun and supportive learning environment where students are guided to develop math skills, build confidence, and achieve academic success.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lead Instructor to join our Mathnasium team. As a Lead Instructor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional math instruction and leadership within our learning center. You will support students by delivering individualized learning plans, mentoring other instructors, and ensuring a positive and productive environment.

Requirements

• Strong math skills through at least Algebra I
• Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
• A passion for education and helping students succeed in math

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring math is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Ability to speak Mandarin is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality math instruction to students using the Mathnasium Method™
• Work with students of all ages and skill levels, from kindergarten to middle school
• Assist in creating and managing personalized learning plans for students
• Mentor, train, and support a team of instructors, providing guidance and feedback
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to parents and guardians
• Maintain a welcoming and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with the Center Director to ensure smooth daily operations
