About The Position

La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Infant Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves developing interactive learning experiences, promoting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, following licensing guidelines and company standards, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. The teacher will also mentor fellow Teachers.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
