About The Position
La Petite Academy in Antioch is hiring a Lead Infant Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The teacher also mentors fellow teachers and follows licensing guidelines and company standards. Learning Care Group provides early childhood education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years through a family of brands. Its research-based curriculum is intended to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment and help prepare children for school and future success.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the class.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote each child’s achievement and support the center’s success.
