About The Position
Join our HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher. The centers focus on developing children from infancy through preschool by making early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun, so children can learn, play, and grow. The Lead Infant Teacher creates age-appropriate learning experiences, maintains a safe and organized classroom, monitors children’s development, communicates with families, and collaborates with fellow teachers.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to create fun learning experiences.
- Ensure classrooms meet TLE standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization so children can explore and learn.
- Understand key developmental milestones, monitor children’s growth, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
