About The Position
Join a HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher supporting children from infancy through preschool. The center aims to make early education joyful, engaging, and fun, helping children learn, play, and grow. Its curriculum focuses on six ages and stages of early childhood development and uses hands-on activities to encourage exploration and problem-solving at each child’s own pace. Teachers foster children’s development in a nurturing environment, with learning characters that bring concepts to life through play and imagination. This franchise is independently owned and operated; applications go directly to the franchisee, which makes all hiring decisions.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain classrooms that meet TLE standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
