About The Position

Classic Air is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician to join their growing team. In this role, the technician will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service and technical leadership in the field.

Requirements

HVAC trade school certification or equivalent field experience
Minimum of 10+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
Extensive experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment
EPA Certification (Type III or Universal required)
Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, refrigeration systems, air distribution systems, and related equipment
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass required pre-employment and ongoing drug screenings
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Performs other related duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Service, diagnose, install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards
Participate in company-provided training on emerging technologies and industry best practices
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and time reporting
Operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition
Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues, recommendations, and solutions
Support and mentor junior technicians as needed
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service and project success
