At AT&T, we empower leaders to drive change in a fast-evolving, connected world. Your strategic vision will help serve customers and transform lives through innovative solutions and impactful connections. Overall Purpose: Overall Purpose: We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Human Resource Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and execute day-to-day HR transactions within our internal systems, such as: Workday, Halo, Nexus, Power BI, Info, etc. The ideal person will provide critical administrative support that enables HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to focus on strategic initiatives aligned with our company’s priorities. This role serves as the backbone for efficient and accurate HR operations, directly supporting our commitment to exceptional employees and client service. Key Reasons for the Role: Improved Strategic Focus for HRBPs: By centralizing Workday transactions with a dedicated specialist, HRBPs can refocus their time on talent management, workforce planning, and directly partnering with leaders to address business challenges. Freeing HRBPs from administrative workloads ensures that our HR function delivers higher value. Increased Accuracy and Compliance: A role dedicated to HR transactions in Workday enhances data quality, ensures accurate record-keeping, and mitigates compliance risks. This specialist will maintain consistency in processes and documentation, reducing errors and potential audit issues. Enhanced Employee and Client Experience: With a skilled resource managing transactional inquiries and requests, issues are resolved more efficiently, employee experiences improve, and HR’s reputation as a responsive partner is strengthened. Process Optimization: This role enables the identification and implementation of best practices and process improvements within the HR transactions workflow, resulting in streamlined operations and improved turnaround times. Scalability: As the business grows, so does the administrative burden. Proactively establishing this role ensures we have the right infrastructure to handle increased volume without compromising service quality or overburdening existing team members. Cost Effectiveness: Considering the cost differential between HRBPs and a transactional specialist, reallocating transactional work is a cost-effective way to maximize our return on HR investment.
