About The Position

The Lead Housekeeper/EVS Lead Tech supervises the work activities of the EVS Techs in the absence of the manager ensuring the hospital remains clean and stocked. This position will also take periodic inventories and train new EVS Techs. In addition, this position must provide the high level of service excellence while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor to fellow employees as well as service vendors.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.
General experience in environmental services.
Medium Work – Exerting 20 – 50 pounds of force occasionally or 10 – 25 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
Grasping; Speaking; Hearing; Visual acuity (color, depth perception, field of vision); Standing; Sitting; Walking; Pushing; Pulling; Lifting; Kneeling; Balancing; Crouching; Twisting; Stooping; Repetitive Motions; Reaching; Climbing Ladders; Climbing Stairs

Previous experience in environmental services within a healthcare setting preferred.
