Lead Housekeeper
About The Position
Evergreen Village in Prescott, AZ is seeking a full time LEAD HOUSEKEEPER. The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping operations to ensure all rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and maintained to the highest standards. This role supervises housekeeping staff, assigns daily tasks, inspects completed work, and assists with cleaning duties as needed. The Lead Housekeeper promotes a positive work environment while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Schedule: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (weekend availability for coverage or move-ins occasionally).
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous housekeeping experience required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implements weekly housekeeping schedules.
- Inspects apartments for proper cleanliness and ensures they are ready prior to occupancy.
- Monitors inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property.
- Cleans resident apartment, including but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas, emptying trash, making beds and linen service where applicable.
- Cleans common areas, including but not limited to public restrooms, halls, landings, restaurants, stairs, activities areas, lobbies, elevators, model rooms, patio, and grounds area.
- Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
- May provide personal laundry service as needed.
- Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets.
- Places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds and replaces pillowcases.
- Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
- Picks up and empties trash containers.
- Loads washers and dryers and folds sheets and towels in laundry room as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
