About The Position

This role involves assisting maintenance supervisors, superintendents, and other maintenance management members with daily activities. The Lead Hatchery Maintenance Tech will provide support and guidance to a team of approximately 20+ maintenance technicians, assisting and directing their work as necessary. Responsibilities include performing maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment in the plant, encompassing general repairs, preventative maintenance, basic electrical repairs, and troubleshooting. Other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional maintenance experience required.
• Mechanical skills, hand/power tool knowledge, and diagnosis and troubleshooting abilities.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, flexibility, and policy adherence.
• Ability to lead and train other maintenance technicians.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Lifting of up to 150 lbs. required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior maintenance lead or maintenance supervisory experience a strong plus.
