About The Position

This is an opportunity to work in a small, close-knit community focused on helping young people learn how to learn, think critically, and grow into capable, self-directed individuals. We are looking for experienced educators who are ready to take on a high-ownership role with meaningful autonomy. We are looking for a Lead Guide who will be responsible for leading a studio of 15-20 students, designing and facilitating learning experiences, and building a strong, values-driven culture. This role blends teaching, coaching, and leadership. We have openings in our lower elementary, upper elementary, and middle school studios. This role is ideal for educators with 2-3 years of experience who are looking to be part of an innovative educational organization and develop further in their career.

Requirements

Degree in a relevant field - Education or STEM majors preferred
2-3+ years of teaching experience, preferably with elementary-age children
Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail
Lead classroom experience is significantly more valuable than assistant roles

Responsibilities

Lead a studio of students through daily learning experiences
Track student progress using academic data and deliver 1:1 coaching / instruction
Design and prepare learning experiences (projects, writing, discussions, exhibitions, events)
Communicate regularly with families about student progress and key events
Build a strong studio culture focused on ownership, respect, and accountability
