About The Position

Our Strategy and Business Operations team is a focused group that tackles our most critical business challenges to drive and support our industry-leading growth. Your efforts will directly impact the overall strategy and success of a world-leading cybersecurity business. You will collaborate on complex business and technology problems that are top of mind for our executives. You possess a unique blend of business insight, business strategy experience, big-picture thinking, and influencing skills, along with the ability to collaborate with a large number of constituents within Palo Alto Networks. Palo Alto Networks is scaling its business strategy organization and looking for its next senior leader. Your work as a Strategy Lead will directly and visibly contribute to our overall strategy and success. You will work as part of a case team and directly with senior leaders in the organization to solve complex strategy problems that are top of mind for our executives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant work experience with at least 3 years in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc.), private equity or top-tier tech strategy or “bizops” functions (Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.)
  • MBA graduate from a top-tier B- school or similar academic credentials or “direct promote” in Consulting or equivalent military experience required
  • Effective verbal and written communication ability and comfort with both business and technical discussions with senior audiences
  • Experience in building relationships and leading through influence
  • Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations
  • Great teammate, willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision
  • Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity industry is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Structure and break down complex business problems, develop a hypothesis, drive analysis and deliver recommendations
  • Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, pressure test your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution and unlock value
  • Develop and present high-quality recommendations and deliverables (PPT, Word, etc.) for executive level consumption
  • Support strategy / business planning processes and assist with developing strategic capabilities across the organization
  • Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management and execution) to do it what it takes to “move the needle”
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to leads and associates on the team and take personal interest in their growth in the organization
