Lead, Growth Analytics - Card & Consumer Banking

Affirm is seeking a scrappy and analytically-minded professional to join their Growth Analytics - Financial Products team. This role will focus on Affirm's Card & Consumer Banking products and will involve developing business and product strategies to drive growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative reasoning skills and experience working with large and complex data sets. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product decisions and influence the roadmap and business unit strategy. • Develop business and product strategies to drive growth, profitability, and a best-in-class customer experience
• Write cases and provide insights based on analysis and research to identify opportunities for growth
• Analyze large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using advanced analytical and statistical techniques
• Identify gaps and opportunities within product and user experience areas and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Build and define critical data sets, reporting, and documentation to enable efficient analysis and monitoring of the business
• Design and analyze AB tests to understand the performance of new features and products
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to inform product decisions and influence roadmap and business unit strategy
• Own end-to-end analytics workflow, including defining success metrics, forecasting, and developing scalable analytics solutions
• Provide project and analytic leadership, guidance, and mentorship on the team
• Disrupt the lending and financial industry for the better with passion and drive
• Possess strong business acumen and judgment to drive decision making and progress
• Have proficiency in SQL and/or experience with Python or R, with project experience in AB testing as a plus
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI
• Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
• Ability to think creatively and critically in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Demonstrate humility, curiosity, and a team player mindset
• Preferred experience in card lending and consumer banking with an understanding of lending mechanics and credit strategies.

• 4+ years of experience in a business focused analytically-driven role (analytics, consulting, finance, data science, etc.)
• Strong business acumen and judgment
• Very good working knowledge of SQL and/or experience with Python or R
• Project experience with AB Testing is a plus
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI)
• Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical audiences
