About The Position

Reporting to The Director of Services, the Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for managing, collecting and qualifying information from customers and prospects interested in X-Rite aftermarket service and training solutions, achieving lead generation and sales conversion goals, and will be located in Grand Rapids, Michigan (Hybrid role, onsite minimum once weekly). In this role, a typical day will look like: Complete outbound calling for X-Rite service and software solutions across multiple channels, with a focus on identifying and engaging new X-Rite customers. Contribute creative lead generation strategies, including recommendations on call strategies, script customization, and objection-handling techniques. Capture customer contact details and relevant business insights to accurately populate and maintain the CRM (Salesforce.com). Build new X-Rite customer relationships by positioning service, software, and product solutions that align with customer needs. Promptly notify appropriate sales team members of qualified sales opportunities. Proactively collaborate with the sales organization to ensure alignment and continuity across the customer journey. Maintain a working knowledge of X-Rite product lines, service and software offerings, and training solutions. Achieve annual lead generation and sales conversion goals established by the business.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including tools used to manage customer and prospect activity.
  • A high level of initiative, motivation, and ownership, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and move work forward independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
