About The Position

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective guest groups and program event attendees. This role focuses on building strong, trust-based relationships with potential and returning customers, increasing their engagement and interest, and ultimately converting them into contracted user groups and program participants in alignment with the ministry and mission of Trademark Camping.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree; additional education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Christian Ministry is preferred.
  • Proficient administrative and computer skills, including the use of Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a willingness and ability to learn Salesforce, CampHub, and other relevant systems.
  • Full agreement with and commitment to the camp’s Mission, Vision, Values, Staff Handbook, and Doctrinal Statement, and a demonstrated lifestyle consistent with these standards.
  • Valid California driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Christian camping, church ministry, or a related ministry environment is preferred.
  • Thorough working knowledge (or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge) of Thousand Pines’ facilities, procedures, events, calendars, and rate schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifies and develops viable leads from past client lists as well as new prospects through research, outreach, and consistent follow-up.
  • Manages all aspects of lead generation, including initial contact, ongoing communication, and qualification of new potential customers.
  • Cultivates strong, healthy relationships with group leaders and key decision-makers, consistently reflecting and representing TM Camping’s core values.
  • Maintains comprehensive communication and relationship-building efforts with churches, schools, and other guest groups with the purpose of engaging them in the ministry of TM Camping.
  • Effectively connects qualified potential guest groups with the appropriate Reservation Specialist of each respective brand for bookings, site reservations, and next steps in the reservations process.
  • Maintains accurate, thorough, and up-to-date records of all interactions, contact information, and relevant details obtained through connections with potential customers for future reference and ongoing follow-up.
  • Assists in marketing and recruiting events for the purposes of cultivating customers for retreats, conferences, school programs, staffing, and Core Services of Trademark Camping.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Registration Manager and President / CEO in support of the overall mission and operations of TM Camping.
