Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Lead Front Desk Representative to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Toms River Office. The Lead Front Desk Representative will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, providing leadership to front desk staff, ensuring a welcoming patient experience, and coordinating administrative functions. We are looking for candidates that are motivated, compassionate and are looking to advance their career in a community that is always growing.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of front desk or medical office experience.
Prior supervisory or lead role experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems, and insurance processes.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support front desk staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
Greet and assist patients with check-in, check-out, and scheduling needs.
Monitor phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries to ensure timely responses.
Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk team members.
Coordinate communication between front desk staff, providers, and clinical teams.
Assist with billing, insurance verification, and patient record updates as needed.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned to support practice operations.
