About The Position
St. Peters Health Partners, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Part-Time Lead Food Service Worker for their Our Lady of Mercy-Guilderland location. The Lead Food Service Worker plays a crucial role in assisting staff in the absence of a supervisor, ensuring a safe work environment, managing employee breaks, and overseeing the completion of critical duties during each shift. This role involves setting a professional example for peers and ensuring the proper assembly, service of food, sanitation, and safety in all utility areas of the department. The position requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and a courteous demeanor.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in the food service industry
- 1+ year Lead or Supervisory experience
- Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6th grade level
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Complete high school level computational skills
Responsibilities
- Assists staff in the absence of their immediate supervisor.
