About The Position
St. Peters Health Partners, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Part-Time Lead Food Service Worker for their Our Lady of Mercy-Guilderland location. Trinity Health is a large organization with a presence in 21 states, emphasizing the importance of understanding and serving diverse populations. The role focuses on ensuring the freshest food is prepared and delivered to patients, staff, and visitors. The Lead Food Service Worker assists staff in the absence of a supervisor, ensures a safe work environment, manages employee breaks, and oversees the completion of critical duties during each shift. This role requires setting a professional example for peers and ensuring proper food assembly, service, sanitation, and safety in all utility areas. The position requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and courtesy.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in the food service industry
- 1+ year Lead or Supervisory experience
- Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6th grade level
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Complete high school level computational skills
Responsibilities
