About The Position
As a Lead Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will specialize in utility meter installations and service within the Industrial Automation Smart Energy business unit. You will be responsible for leading the installation, training, safety, quality, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced utility metering systems, ensuring accurate measurement and reliable operation for energy customers. Your expertise will be key to supporting the deployment of smart energy solutions that drive efficiency and sustainability. You will report directly to the Field Service Manager and work out of the Charlotte, NC location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the accuracy and reliability of utility metering infrastructure, enabling customers to optimize energy usage, improve billing accuracy, and support smart grid initiatives.
