About The Position

We have an immediate opening for a Security Technician at our Kanata office. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for responding to, and resolving service calls, providing technical support and solving problems for Honeywell customers located across Eastern Ontario. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery of small service jobs, time and material work and preventive maintenance may be assigned as well. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency. Be the face of Honeywell to the customer and interact directly with end-users, peers, and competitors. Share knowledge of Honeywell solutions to improve efficiencies and team ability. Become a technical specialist for sophisticated Honeywell solutions/product offerings. The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance. Requirements

  • Electrical / Electronic diploma or experience with fault finding/repairs of electronic equipment
  • Experience with maintenance of IT systems including hardware and software (server management, network configuration/troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Eligible for CGP clearance
