This position will be based onsite in Shackleford County, TX. The Lead Facility Technician serves as the senior technical resource and daily operational lead for facility management activities supporting assigned data center facilities. This role is responsible for coordinating building maintenance activities, overseeing contractor performance, supporting customer requests, conducting facility inspections, and ensuring operational readiness of assigned buildings and customer facing spaces. Working under the direction of the Facility Manager, the Lead Facility Technician provides field leadership for Facility Technicians and contracted service providers responsible for maintaining common areas, office spaces, exterior grounds, building systems, and customer support areas. This individual serves as the primary escalation point for day -to-day facility issues and helps coordinate corrective actions, maintenance activities, and vendor response efforts. The Lead Facility Technician partners closely with Site Operations, Construction, Security, Engineering, IT, Leasing, Asset Management, and Vendor Management teams to ensure facility-related work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. This role requires a strong understanding of building systems, vendor management, customer support, and facility operations, along with the ability to execute maintenance and repair activities safely, efficiently, and without disrupting customer operations.
