About The Position

Riverside Management and Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician for a private luxury age-qualified residential community in Lincoln, California. The role provides day-to-day direction and operational support for maintenance and porter staff, working in collaboration with the Facilities Manager. The technician also performs routine maintenance and operational duties as needed. The position offers an hourly rate of $25 and employee benefits.

Requirements

5–10 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, maintenance/porter services, or closely related work.
Experience leading, training, or coordinating maintenance personnel.
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, mechanical systems, and basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to prioritize service requests, communicate professionally, and document work accurately.
Experience using computerized work order systems and basic Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a resort, hospitality, or HOA work setting.
Experience coordinating vendors, staff schedules, pool operations, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Provide daily direction to maintenance and porter staff in collaboration with the Facilities Manager.
Assign, prioritize, and follow up on work.
Train and coach employees on maintenance procedures, service standards, equipment use, and safety.
Monitor work quality, productivity, and completion of assigned tasks, and promptly elevate performance or staffing concerns to the Facilities Manager.
Serve as the operational point of contact during the Facilities Manager’s absence within delegated authority.
Coordinate work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, and accurate documentation.
Promptly communicate urgent repairs, hazards, service interruptions, and outstanding projects to management.
Work alongside staff on routine maintenance, porter duties, room setups, and operational support as needed.
