About The Position

At Q39 our passion is to create craveable, memorable dining experiences for all. The Q39 Expo Lead serves as the central communication and coordination point between the Heart of House (HOH) and Front of House (FOH) teams during service. This role is responsible for ensuring food quality, presentation standards, ticket flow, timing, and guest experience are executed at a high level while maintaining urgency, organization, and accountability throughout each shift. The Expo Lead works closely with the Restaurant Chef, Sous Chefs, and leadership team to support operational excellence and consistent execution of the Q39 service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper plating and presentation standards are maintained
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of all orders before leaving the expo window
  • Monitor food quality, temperature, and consistency during peak service
  • Support urgent guest requests, modifications, and allergy communication
  • Identify and resolve service bottlenecks quickly to protect the guest experience
  • Maintain efficient flow through expo windows while managing ticket times
  • Communicate ticket times and service flow with the HOH team
  • Coordinate timing and table pacing with FOH staff
  • Serve as the primary communication hub between HOH and FOH during service
  • Maintain positive energy, urgency, and accountability during service
