About The Position
The Lead EVS Tech leads and oversees the activities of Environmental Services Techs and helps provide a safe, hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role accepts supervisory responsibilities as requested and assists with coordinating hospital throughput and efficiency, particularly timely, quality-driven patient room cleaning. This is an hourly position with an expected pay range of $18.27–$20.29 per hour; actual pay is determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. A $1.75 second-shift differential is listed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of environmental services experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior lead or supervisory experience.
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC), Certified Healthcare Environmental Technician (CHEST), or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification.
