The Equipment Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. This role involves evaluating and recommending equipment improvements to enhance availability, capability, and yield, conducting equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance), troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems, and preparing technical reports to document modifications and maintenance. Additionally, the technician will oversee the repairs calendar and manage parts ordering.

Requirements

  • Experience in light electrical and plumbing, general machinery repair
  • Some warehouse, picker/packer experience
  • Strong mechanical acumen
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or greater
  • Ability to work well with a team

Responsibilities

  • Repair and refurbish commercial dish machines
  • Remove and replace basic electrical and plumbing components on machines
  • Manage inventory of parts and machines returned to warehouse
  • Manage inventory space and build systems to streamline refurbishment process
  • Prepare shipments and deliveries of machine
  • Pick orders and collect parts necessary for repairs in warehouse
  • Order, forecast and maintain safety stock levels of parts and machine components for refurbishment department
  • Assist field team with repair solutions
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers and vendors
