About The Position

TSC is seeking a Lead Electronics Technician located in our Huntsville, AL to support our production division. This role involves troubleshooting electronic assemblies down to the component level to support product reliability and repair, diagnosing issues in both RF and digital systems and restoring failed units to full functionality. The technician will also be responsible for logging, interpreting, and analyzing test data, collaborating with peers for continuous improvement, and working closely with Technical Leads and Engineering to implement process enhancements. Effective communication with management and team members is crucial for aligning on goals and improving throughput. Additionally, the role requires setting up, calibrating, and validating test systems, and presenting findings to various stakeholders. Adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment, responding to shifting priorities and production demands, is essential.

Requirements

Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and at least 6 years of production and/or assembly experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Strong theoretical and functional understanding of electronics diagnostic instruments and lab equipment including: DMM, Signal Analyzer, oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, LRC meter.
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Ability to assembly, test, rework, repair according to IPC Standards
Experience working in a design team environment with vendors, customers and peer engineers
Ability to mentor and lead more junior technicians.

Responsibilities

Accurately and effectively log, interpret, and analyze test data to identify trends, collaborating with peers to drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Work closely with Technical Leads and Engineering to implement process enhancements, while communicating proactively with management and team members to align on goals and improve throughput.
Set up, calibrate, and validate test systems to ensure accuracy and repeatability, clearly presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Adapt effectively within a dynamic manufacturing environment, responding to shifting priorities and production demands.
