Requirements

8+ years of electrical or electromechanical product-development experience; battery, energy storage, industrial equipment, or automotive experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Demonstrated experience with electrical architecture, sensors, harness interfaces, BOM optimization, and design reviews.
Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor engineers across locations.

Nice To Haves

Electrical architecture and component-level cost optimization for battery or industrial equipment.
Sensor, switch, heater, pump, DC/DC converter, power-distribution, and harness interface knowledge.
Ability to assess redundant devices, substitute components, interface impacts, and validation needs.
Experience reviewing electrical designs and guiding distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Own technical direction and design reviews for the electrical workstream.
Translate system requirements into electrical architecture, component, interface, and verification requirements.
Lead lower-cost alternative selection for switches, sensors, and electrical isolation components.
Assess impacts to PCBA interfaces, controls, diagnostics, harnesses, BOMs, and system performance.
Coordinate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, supply-chain, and validation teams.
Review nearshore deliverables and ensure release-quality documentation.
