About The Position

As the Lead Director of Construction Program Administration, you will lead efforts to integrate new business units into the Construction Department’s workstream while also overseeing construction support for existing programs. You will work closely with key business sponsors across the organization—including New Store, Oak Street Health, Supply Chain, Front Store, Pharmacy, MinuteClinic, Merchandising, Operations, Real Estate, PBM, Coram, Omnicare, Shared Services, IT, and others—to lead a team that provides comprehensive Construction Management Services. You will serve as a primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring construction activities adhere to best practices in quality, efficiency, budget compliance, and speed-to-market to maximize ROI. You will primarily lead a team of Senior Project Managers and, in some cases, Project Managers. This role reports to the Executive Director of Construction and Property Administration. You will be responsible for developing project and program budgets encompassing all construction-related costs, including acquisition, financing, soft costs, site costs, building costs, FFE, and merchandising. You will partner with business sponsors to ensure adequate budget support for planned initiatives. For each new business initiative, you will integrate administrative systems that meet the needs of both business sponsors and the Planning, Design, and Construction department. You will also program each project with appropriate staffing and supervision to ensure excellent construction management outcomes. Certain programs or projects may require this position to report directly to the Vice President of Construction or Senior Vice President of Construction.
