As an Oracle Data Center Technician, you will provide hands-on technical support for highly secure, mission-critical infrastructure supporting U.S. Government customers. This role specifically supports the GDI/ONSR EDGE data center locations that are across multiple regions and locations within the United States. You will be responsible for maintaining the operational health of data center and interconnect infrastructure within access-controlled facilities and will work closely with internal engineering teams, customer representatives, site personnel, security organizations, and external partners. This role requires strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in complex environments where standard data center activities may require additional coordination, approvals, and site-specific procedures before work can begin. You will troubleshoot hardware, cabling, connectivity, and infrastructure issues, support break-fix activities, participate in project deployments, maintain accurate technical documentation, and escalate issues to the appropriate resolver groups when necessary. The underlying support model specifically involves customer-owned, access-controlled environments with added approval and coordination requirements. You will also support infrastructure installations, secure equipment handling, circuit-related activities, asset management, site documentation, and operational readiness. This position may require regional travel to other supported locations to support edge infrastructure, including major deployments, infrastructure upgrades, site activations, or high-severity incident response.
