About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Lead Data/AI Platform Engineer for a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a global financial institution in Pennington, New Jersey, or Charlotte, North Carolina. The role leads the design, delivery, and evolution of cloud-based, AI-enabled data integration and analytics platforms in support of enterprise technology and business goals. It drives architecture decisions across Informatica, public cloud services, and AI-enabled data capabilities, while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing. The position also provides technical leadership, governance, and mentorship across data, cloud, and AI initiatives. The stated pay range is $55.06 to $63.06 per hour. Candidates must be available to work directly as Genesis10 employees.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with on-premises Informatica and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Deep understanding of Informatica Cloud architecture, secure agents, and hybrid/cloud deployment models.
Experience designing solutions on public cloud platforms; Azure is preferred, including integration with Azure Active Directory.
Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled data pipelines that support analytics, model training, and intelligent applications.
Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple Orgs and Sub-Orgs.
Proven experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management in cloud environments.
Expertise in performance optimization, cost efficiency, and scaling cloud data workloads.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of data replication and availability across cloud object storage (S3-compatible), local file systems, and NAS.
Familiarity with Operational Insights, cloud monitoring, and AI-driven observability.
Experience mentoring teams on cloud, data engineering, and AI data best practices.
Background working in a shared services or platform engineering model.
Expertise in DevOps, Solution Design, and Agile Delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, delivery, and evolution of cloud-based, AI-enabled data integration and analytics platforms.
Drive architectural decisions across on-premises and cloud Informatica, public cloud services, and AI-driven data capabilities.
Partner with Product, Application, Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to implement data and AI requirements.
Optimize platform performance and resolve complex system engineering challenges.
Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentorship across data, cloud, and AI initiatives.
