Lead Custodian
About The Position
As a Lead Custodian, you will help ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for employees, visitors, and guests. Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and restrooms. Restock restroom and facility supplies, including paper products, soap, and sanitizing materials. Monitor facility conditions and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns promptly. Support team members and maintain professional interactions with staff, visitors, and clients. Assist with maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safety procedures.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Nice To Haves
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
