About The Position

St. Louis Children's Hospital has an opportunity for a Lead Credentialing Analyst within the medical staff office. Responsibilities will include managing initial appointments with opportunities to be cross trained in the reappointment process for credentialing. This role will also provide administrative and operational support within the medical staff office. Hybrid opportunity with expectations to be onsite weekly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of experience

  • National Ass'n Med Staff Srvcs certification

Responsibilities

  • Provides training, instructs, directs, and checks the work of other credentialing analysts.
  • Assembles project plans and team work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of projects or operations/oriented work efforts.
  • Establishes processes to identify, track, escalate, resolve and report customer problems.
  • Responsible for problem solving and operating system boards and leading sub-committees created for ongoing process improvement.
  • Identifies resource needs and escalates functional, quality, time-line issues appropriately.
  • Coordinates ongoing training opportunities for current staff; facilitates new team member orientation/training.
