This position acts as the primary liaison between providers, hospitals, and credentialing agencies to ensure timely credentialing, licensure, and regulatory compliance. The role involves managing provider credentialing records, applications, hospital privileges, affiliation verifications, and ongoing documentation requirements. Key responsibilities include maintaining data and compliance systems (OneApp, ECLIPSE, SharePoint, OneDrive), tracking licenses, DEA renewals, COIs, and fingerprinting needs. The position also supports operational and quality processes by handling audits, case logs, FPPE/OPPE evaluations, flu compliance, and provider onboarding/offboarding. Additionally, it requires coordinating communication and reporting with hospitals and internal teams to ensure providers receive privileges, IDs, and necessary access promptly.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in provider licensing and credentialing within the healthcare industry or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and credentialing software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, research and analyze data, and build effective relationships with providers, staff, and external partners.

Nice To Haves

  • CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) certification through NAMSS preferred.

Responsibilities
