About The Position

As a Lead Creative Producer on Pinterest’s House of Creative team, you will lead end-to-end creative production for complex, high-impact marketing programs across multiple channels and workstreams. The role combines hands-on production execution with in-house cross-functional leadership, partnering with Creative, Marketing, Product, Comms, Media, Legal, Finance, and external production partners to move work from early concept through final delivery. You will create clarity around how work gets made by establishing shared plans, keeping milestones and dependencies visible, aligning decision-makers, surfacing risks and tradeoffs early, and ensuring cross-functional teams understand what is happening, changing, and needed from them. The role also involves using AI thoughtfully to support appropriate production workflows while retaining critical judgment, accuracy, confidentiality, and ownership of final outcomes, as well as mentoring producers and advancing production practices across House of Creative. The role requires in-office collaboration 1–2 times per week and must be based within commuting distance of Pinterest’s Los Angeles office. It is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in integrated creative production across in-house brand or marketing organizations and/or agency teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, communications, or production, or equivalent experience.
  • Robust hands-on production experience across large, multi-channel campaigns, with deep knowledge of film/video production and strong fluency across photography, social, digital, experiential, and other integrated formats.
  • Demonstrated success operating within, or deeply embedded with, complex in-house creative and marketing organizations.
  • Experience leading highly cross-functional programs and creating alignment across teams with different goals, timelines, and decision-makers.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, including proactively keeping teams aligned on schedules, milestones, dependencies, changes, and decisions.
  • Strong production judgment and ability to independently manage budgets, scopes, resources, vendors, timelines, and risk.
  • Ability to influence without authority, navigate ambiguity, and determine when issues should be resolved at the working level versus escalated for leadership decisions.
  • Experience managing external agencies and production partners while maintaining strong internal relationships and accountability.
  • Ability to commute to the Los Angeles office for in-person collaboration 1–2 times per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative production from concept through delivery across large, integrated marketing campaigns and programs spanning film/video, photography, social, digital, experiential, and other brand expressions.
  • Set production strategy across multiple concurrent programs, including scoping, resourcing, budgets, schedules, and vendor planning.
  • Build integrated production plans that clarify roles, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and handoffs for cross-functional partners.
  • Connect in-house Creative, Marketing, Product, Comms, Media, Legal, Finance, and other partner teams, creating clarity around roles, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and handoffs.
  • Partner with senior creative and marketing leaders to assess ambition, feasibility, timing, and investment, and translate changes into clear production implications and tradeoffs.
  • Identify risks early, recommend solutions, and escalate decisions at the right time to protect quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead external production partners, including agencies, production companies, photographers, directors, and specialist vendors.
  • Advocate for high creative craft while balancing business priorities, production realities, budgets, and timelines.
  • Use AI thoughtfully to accelerate suitable production workflows, such as planning, research, synthesis, documentation, and repetitive tasks, while maintaining critical judgment, accuracy, confidentiality, and ownership of final outcomes.
  • Mentor and support other producers and contribute to the evolution of production standards, tools, and practices across House of Creative.
