About The Position

This role involves coordinating count room activities, assisting the Count Room Manager, and overseeing Count Room Representatives. The Lead Count Room Representative is responsible for collecting money from various gaming machines and areas, ensuring the security of casino assets, and accurately counting all collected funds. This position also requires completing necessary documentation and reports, and maintaining the safety and security of guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Ability to accurately count money.
  • Ability to use office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, 10-key calculator, and copy machine.
  • Ability to use and maintain equipment and machinery used for transporting and counting funds.
  • Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Read, write, and understand moderately complex instructions, including internal controls.
  • Required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
  • Required to bend or stoop and to lift up to 100 pounds, including lifting overhead.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate count activities along with and in the absence of the Count Room Manager.
  • Review count room activities with Count Room Manager daily.
  • Provide direction and assistance to Count Room Representatives when necessary.
  • Collect money collection cans from all assigned slot machines, bill validators, change machines, and/or table games boxes, and replace with empty cans.
  • Maintain control of all casino assets at all times.
  • Follow all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security at all times.
  • Transport assets to count room.
  • Count all money collected from the gaming floor.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation, and reports timely, accurately, and legibly.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
