About The Position

Bally’s Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. This role is responsible for fostering an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere and promoting a customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service. The position adheres to all policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals. Key duties involve collecting and counting revenue from various drop sources, sorting and organizing currency, coins, coupons, chips, and paperwork, and managing the retrieval and storage of drop boxes. The role also includes operating currency counters, reconciling funds, entering count information into software, and transporting carts of currency. Additionally, the position is responsible for duties related to the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be proficient in using a 10-key calculator and other office equipment
  • Must have above-average math skills to count money accurately and quickly

Nice To Haves

  • Six months of experience in money handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
  • Collect and count revenue from various drop sources per the company’s internal controls and departmental guidelines
  • Count, sort, and organize all currency, coins, coupons, chips, and paperwork from the drop container; strap and hand-stamp money bundles; delivers to cashiers as applicable
  • Retrieve drop boxes from the storage area and appropriately store all boxes and carts
  • Load currency counters, utilize the counter interface, and collect, sort, and reconcile funds
  • Enters count information into applicable software applications
  • Load appropriate boxes into carts and pushes and pull carts to designated areas for transportation to the casino floor
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned
