About The Position

The Count Room Attendant is responsible for accurately processing and counting cash, chips and tickets from all Table Games, Slots, Sportsbook, TRM, ATM and JDU machines. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company internal controls, maintaining confidentiality, and performing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Essential functions include exposure to casino environmental factors, ability to work under pressure, and physical capabilities such as standing for an entire shift, moving throughout casino/hotel areas, lifting up to 50 pounds, and pushing a wheeled cart with up to 300 pounds.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in a cash handling position.
H.S Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Remove Bill Validator Drop boxes from Slot Machines and replace with empty boxes.
Load dropped Bill Validator boxes on cart and transport to the count room.
Trace and match fills/credit slips from Table Games to the Preliminary Master Gaming Report and document any discrepancies.
Operate approved counting equipment and upload end of day totals due to Audit.
Empty Table Game Drop boxes, Sportsbook, TRM, ATM and JDU cassettes and slot BVs individually and in numerical order.
Maintain confidentiality.
Ensure that revenue from all Table Games, Slots, Sportsbook, TRM, ATM and JDU machines are dropped and counted in compliance with the NJDGE standards and company Internal Controls.
Provide documentation of all counts and fulfill all regulatory requirements; as well as company and NJDGE procedures.
