About The Position

This position requires a minimum of 5 days per week in the office and is only available in the location(s) posted. No relocation assistance is offered. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports, lead complex accounting projects, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies. You will also be responsible for collecting, recording, classifying, examining, analyzing, and reporting accounting transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or GAAP.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, BS or BA, desired.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accounting systems and manage the general ledger.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare journal entries.
  • Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts.
  • Manage records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and statutory filings.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide tax-related guidance.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support financial health and operational efficiency.
  • Support cash flow management, budgeting, team leadership, system improvements, and stakeholder communication.
  • Use advanced reporting tools and AI-enabled solutions, as appropriate.
