Requirements
- Experience in commercial/volume food preparation is required.
- Serve-Safe certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding dining experience as a Lead Cook where you will prepare a wide variety of foods that will delight our patients/residents with their taste and timely delivery.
- Follow menus, recipes and menu systems to prepare and serve meals, snacks and nourishments in accordance to prescribed resident/patient diets and requests.
- Serve meals and snacks in various dining locations, including demonstration cooking and point of-service made to order foods as requested.
- Handle and prepare food in a safe and sanitary manner, maintaining clean, organized and sanitary work areas.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner, observe and monitor temperatures of refrigeration units and report malfunctioning equipment.
