About The Position

Responsible for the preparation of food for patients, associates and all other guests.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures department meetings, monthly in-services, training classes, etc. as assigned.
  • Performs and meets customer needs; takes appropriate steps to rectify issues.
  • Maintains stocks and replenishes cafeteria items as needed (dispenser soda/CO2, frozen yogurt, soup, deli bar, grab n go cooler, hot food, etc.); according to dept. standards.
  • Maintains cleanliness of cafeteria, serving areas, and tray return areas.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment including cooking, hot-holding, refrigeration/freezer equipment, slicer, and utility carts.
  • Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Prepares catering orders as assigned and makes sandwiches.
  • Prepares and serves daily menu cycle items for grill and deli station.
  • Cleans and stocks area after each meal.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
