About The Position

The Lead Commissioning Integrator will lead both cold and hot commissioning, solve complex issues, and mentor others. This role involves plant or subsystem-level leadership, integration issues, and client interface.

Requirements

• 2‑year technical degree or Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent or proven field commissioning experience (8+ years)
• Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, or SCADA systems (basic familiarity)
• Reads wiring diagrams and simple network diagrams
• Typically 8+ years of hands-on commissioning in PLC/SCADA systems (multi-platform: SEL RTAC, Schneider, Allen‑Bradley, Siemens)
• Renewable energy systems (solar, BESS, substation controls)
• Complex troubleshooting across PLC, SCADA, networking, relays, communications
• Leading subsystem or full-site commissioning scopes
• Experience training or mentoring junior staff
• Demonstrated success navigating client-facing SAT signoffs
• Advanced understanding of control sequences, networking, and power systems
• Willing to travel 50% of the time
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards
• Must have permanent authorization to work in US
• Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Define test sequences; tailor scripts; de-risk constraints
• Lead plant startup; tune control loops; resolve cross-system faults
• Diagnose multi-factor failures (PLC/SCADA/network/protection)
• Approve reports; ensure audit-ready documentation (NERC/ISO)
• Lead SAT; secure client sign-off; ensure training/turnover readiness
