Requirements

5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
EPA Universal Certification
Iowa HVAC License or the ability to obtain one during the introductory employment period
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience servicing educational, commercial, healthcare, or industrial facilities
Strong working knowledge of: Chillers, RTU / Package Systems, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Pumps, RTUs, VRF Systems, VAV Systems
OSHA 10 Certification (or higher)
OEM certifications such as Trane, Carrier, Daikin, York, Lennox, or Johnson Controls

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
Install, replace, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and system start-ups
Complete warranty repairs, equipment adjustments, and emergency service calls
Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings with customers
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards
Mentor and assist less experienced technicians when needed
