About The Position
Crete United is seeking an experienced Lead Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join their team in Davenport, Iowa. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- Iowa HVAC License or the ability to obtain one during the introductory employment period
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience servicing educational, commercial, healthcare, or industrial facilities
- Strong working knowledge of: Chillers, RTU / Package Systems, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Pumps, RTUs, VRF Systems, VAV Systems
- OSHA 10 Certification (or higher)
- OEM certifications such as Trane, Carrier, Daikin, York, Lennox, or Johnson Controls
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Install, replace, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and system start-ups
- Complete warranty repairs, equipment adjustments, and emergency service calls
- Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings with customers
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Mentor and assist less experienced technicians when needed
