About The Position

Fanatics Collect is seeking a Lead, Commerce Strategy & Operations to own and drive high-impact commercial initiatives across the livestreaming business within Fanatics Collect. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, product development, and marketplace operations, with end-to-end ownership of initiatives that improve seller performance and elevate the collector experience. As a senior individual contributor, this role partners closely with the Sr. Director of Live Commerce, the GM of US Live, and cross-functional leadership to define priorities, lead execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The Lead translates marketplace insights into strategic initiatives, aligns stakeholders across teams, and ensures successful delivery of complex, multi-functional programs. This role requires strong business judgment, a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to influence outcomes across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams. The individual is expected to operate as a subject-matter expert and thought partner to leadership, helping shape strategy while driving execution.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in strategy, program management, consulting, marketplace operations, or related roles within e-commerce, technology, or digital platforms
  • Proven ability to independently own and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets, generate insights, and translate findings into strategic recommendations
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps and translating business needs into clear requirements for technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and effectively partner with senior stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides, including building structured analyses and executive-level presentations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams
  • Experience designing and managing programs tied to business performance metrics (e.g., revenue, growth, engagement)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously

  • Familiarity with sports cards, trading card games (TCG), or collectibles is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive end-to-end delivery of strategic commercial initiatives that support marketplace growth, seller success, and collector experience across Fanatics Live
  • Act as a strategic partner to Live Commerce leadership, leading business reviews, analyses, and initiative planning to inform prioritization and decision-making
  • Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Loyalty, Marketing, and Topps, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely delivery of business-critical initiatives
  • Translate marketplace, seller, and category insights into actionable strategies, identifying growth opportunities and influencing roadmap priorities
  • Own seller incentive programs, including design, execution, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with commercial P&L targets and measurable ROI
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define business requirements, prioritize feature development, and influence the product roadmap based on marketplace needs
  • Lead rollout and adoption of new product features, including coordinating seller testing, gathering feedback, and ensuring successful launch outcomes
  • Establish and manage program governance, including OKRs, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Develop executive-ready insights and presentations to communicate marketplace performance, strategic recommendations, and program progress to senior leadership
  • Own seller-facing operational programs and communications at scale, ensuring clear, timely, and effective engagement with the seller ecosystem
  • Drive operational excellence across seller workflows and systems, including CRM integrity, contracting coordination, and platform enablement
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in Commerce Strategy & Operations, influencing cross-functional teams and contributing to broader business strategy and planning
  • Support and lead key marketplace initiatives and industry events, including seller programs, conferences, and major events such as Fanatics Fest and The National
